"Be yourself. Read a banned book. Embrace nature. Defend what's different. Support the mad!"- Pakinam Amer
Paky's wall of memories
"What we know of other people is only our memory of the moments during which we know them. And they have changed since then... at every meeting we are meeting a stranger."
"I am what I am." I will tell you what I like because I believe it's what makes me "ME": more important than what I do, what I want or what I look like. I like listening to people's stories as they recount their hearty experiences through the life that we all share. I like the sound of external silence that is only interrupted by the voices in my mind as I sit at my desk writing the night away. I like fairy tales of flying horses, unicorns and dragons and I like watching the looks on children's faces as these stories are told. I like cheering when I watch a good movie, I clap my hands when I laugh and I laugh hard and loud. I like that. I like travelling; even if only with my mind and soul or along the pages of a book. I enjoy practicing the "art of living." I like talking to people face-to-face because I'm a big fan of facial expression, hand gestures and body-language. I like to share my feelings and speak out my ideas. I like communication without barriers; opening the heart so that the eyes truly see what is essential and not just what is apparent.
